What would you like to know about transaction?

Question 1.  Who are transaction?

We are expert ecommerce consultants in online web retailing.  There are two main consultants Richard and Steve, with access to other expert ecommerce business associates.

Question 2.  What is the experience & background of the partners?

We have spent our careers generating sales for retail, catalogue, store and ecommerce businesses, primarily working for the UK’s biggest home retailer. Steve’s career focus has been on ecommerce operations, his last corporate position being Head of e-commerce Operations at Littlewoods Retail. Richard’s career focus has been on direct customer marketing and business strategy and his last corporate job was as a marketing director in a telecoms business. Question 3.  Why would I choose transaction?

We compete against generic management consultancies and others by being:

  • Expert. Delivering profitable scaleable web businesses is what we do.
  • Lean. You get us, senior retail executives working on your business till go live.
  • Cost effective.  We focus on delivering a profitable cost effective site that performs from day one
  • Focussed.  We focus on the web delivery project and make it happen.

Question 4.  When did transaction set up in business?

Steve and Richard got together outside Littlewoods in mid 2007 and have been growing the business ever since, although we have worked together for a decade.

Question 5.  How long does it take for transaction to get me selling online?

To start a transactional site from scratch we would recommend a full 6-9 months, but recognise that some businesses have to move faster.  However, the question is almost impossible to answer generically as it depends on so many things that would come from your business.

Question 6.  Are transaction web designers, software providers or web hosters?

No, we are ecommerce management consultants who direct you to plan and implement a retail website, then make it perform.
